Gallery: Erie Canal

This gallery contains a selection of photographs that I took in 2007 for an exhibit at the Erie Canal Museum in Syracuse. Opening in the Spring of 2008, it was a fascinating exhibit that dealt with the way that hydroelectric power was incorporated at the Erie Canal locks when New York State enlarged the entire canal system. It gave me a terrific opportunity to travel to canal locks throughout the state on the Erie, Cayuga-Seneca, and Champlain Canals.
